Fall Hike

In Nevada, we have a special holiday every October celebrating the day that Nevada became a state.  We get the day off of work and school for "Nevada Day".  When I was little, Nevada day was always on Halloween so Carson City (the state capital) would celebrate Halloween the day after.  We still celebrated on Halloween in Reno though, so we'd go trick or tricking in Reno AND Carson City the next day.  Double candy!  It was every kid's dream.  Now that I'm older, I just get excited for the extra 3 day weekend.  Scott and I decided to celebrate by going for a beautiful Fall hike in the mountains near our apartment.  We don't have many trees in the desert but the few that we do have are so pretty this time of year.  

 

We decided to practice a little "yoga" by the river and I almost fell in haha

It was the perfect Fall day with my man!  Happy birthday Nevada (next week!).
