Christmas

This was our first Christmas in our own place since we've been married.  We loved having our own tree to decorate and put presents under.  We both tried to be sneaky this year and surprise each other with presents.  I snuck out into the living room after Scott had gone to bed and set up his new guitar amp so he'd be surprised on Christmas morning. 

He was like a little kid when he found it in front of the tree (he's been rocking out non-stop ever since)

After we opened presents we had Christmas breakfast together and went to my parent's house to open presents with my family.  We even got to skype with Scott's brother Michael (who's on a mission in the Caribbean) and the rest of his family back in Kansas. 

That night we went to my sister's house for an amazing prime rib dinner (seriously, it was SO good).  We had lots of fun laughing, eating and playing games all night. 

 The best part of Christmas this year was being able to get together with the whole family.  This is the first time in 5 years that we have been able to have the whole family together for the holidays.  I love my family so much!
